µRemote development suspended

You might have noticed the lack of updates by now, so if you are wondering what is going on and when a new version will be available, I regret to inform you I won't be updating µRemote for a while, could be month, years or forever. I'm not using this program anymore so I prefer to put my energy into other things.
Sorry.

Awww! Well I would be interested to hear what has supplemented your use of (uTorrent, Torrents in general)? I really enjoy your app and use it quite frequently, thanks for fixing the crashing issues!

I only came here to suggest you add a couple big Pause/Resume All buttons somewhere in the app.

Either way, thanks a lot!

Darn....

From al remote torrent apps, I liked yours best.
Well at least you say suspended and not stopped :P

It works fine as it is right now.
Like Shaze I'm curious why you are not using it anymore.

Thanks for your great app.

Sorry to hear that you may not be updating it any more. I would also be curious how you are supplementing your remote torrents?

If needed, I hope someone else could continue development, but it works fine by now.

But BIG thanks for your work mate, it really help me out a lot and simplified things for me...

Best wishes :)

Thanks for the great program. And sad you stop the dev.

As previous users said, open the sources while you doesn't want to update it.

So somes users can continue to upgrade this nice software.

With LGPL you can decide to swip from open to closed in the future.

bye

Gotta say, just came across this and WOW!!!
Best thing ever, thanks for taking the time to write this awesome app.
As others have voiced, if you intended to stop work on this PLEASE for the love of all things sacred and fluffy release the code, its just THAT awesome.

Any chance you could make the source public or send it to me? I'd like to take a look at the code and maybe add some features.

My email is butlerat at gmail dot com.

Cheers

Please open up the source, or at least offer a zip so someone else can. I'd love to submit patches/update it.

wow this sucks :( I love this program because it allows me to access utorrent at home and at work :) I came here to see if there was an update to it, since v2 of utorrent broke connectivity with uremote :(

In any case, thanks for making such an awesome program <3

Please make the source public!

While it is working perfectly now, when uTorrent 2.1 becomes stable and the webgui api is updated to reflect the 2.1 changes, stuff like RSS feeds and RSS downloader can be accessed remotely and then uRemote would need an update!

Thank you for developing this great app. But please publish the source so that this great software can be developed further.

Let's hope you put your energy into learning how to write English.
I think you'll find that your last sentence is a split infinitive.
You can't say "I prefer to put my energy in other things"
try "I prefer to put my energy into other things"
I'm sorry but this only goes to show the terrible state of English that proliferates many Internet forums today.
How do you ever learn to program with such a poor grasp of the English Language ?

uTorrent 2.0 breaks compatibility with uRemote

Go to Settings, Advanced, then disable 'webui.token_auth' in µTorrent.

Then it will be working again!

Thanks for the program. You should make the source available!

@Anonymous
What's the difference between an English major and a pizza?

At least a pizza can feed the family!

Oh well, it was fun. I still use it daily. Let me know if you need an offsite server to use. You should have my email address in your records. Thanks for the time and effort,
